In a celebration of British ingenuity, The British Library explores the stories behind some of the most iconic inventions of the century's first decade. A program of events will take a deeper look at the world of inventions and help aspiring inventors to turn their ideas into reality, with the support of the Library's Business & IP Centre. The free exhibition runs from September 6th to November 28th at the Folio Society Gallery in The British Library.

Fuel Cell Challenge 2010. Deadline: 2010-09-17. In an effort to accelerate the commercialization of clean technologies in South Carolina, the USC-Columbia Fuel Cell is launching the Fuel Cell Challenge. The challenge is an innovation-based competition focused on identifying and commercializing novel hydrogen, fuel cell, and clean technologies in the industry. Learn more here.

John Poppleton of www.kiwiingenuity.net is organizing the "Inventor Next Door 2010" at the Pataka Museum in Porirua City, New Zealand from September 30th to October 17th. The ABC Kids Expo is the primary trade show for the juvenile products industry. It includes baby gear, gift and layette, maternity, toys and related accessories. The ABC Kids Expo is a wholesale environment and is only open to the trade.
