USPTO 2008 Business Method Partnership Meeting - The Partnership Meeting is an opportunity for you to discuss the many aspects of business patenting. Boost Your Business 2008 Contest (http//boost08.perfectprize.com/form.php) accepts submissions for the first round of the contest through May 31. Contestants who survive the first round will be required to submit more detailed information, including a 30-second "elevator pitch" video recording. Each contestant will submit a brief write-up--500 words max--about their small business. Contestants will also fill out a brief questionnaire, to which they will attach (electronically) their 500-word write-ups. Remember: 500 words is not a lot of space, so be as clear and direct as possible. Get your points across with numbers and facts, not airy assertions.

IdeaTango will be supporting the Houston Inventors Association Tradeshow, to be scheduled sometime in August 2008. The inventor group has successfully pulled off the show several years in a row, with last year besting ALL previous years. They also plan on upgrading the facility and holding the event at Rice University! The show is a fantastic, low-risk opportunity for inventors to show off their products to consumers, industry professionals, and manufacturers.
